Griselda (2024)

Just finished watching the Netflix series on Griselda Blanco…some thoughts:

• I’m lucky I got out with a minor scratch from my family 
• You need to know your why. Why are you earning money. Why do you insist on something. Find out always your why. Sometimes your why might be driven by the wrong motives. Fix it before it’s too late.
• What’s important to you. Family? Life? Things? Money? What’s important to you? Be honest. Stop bullshitting and give people pleasing answers for the society. Be honest with yourself, Tina. If what’s important to you is bad and can kill you, you better own that decision. 
• What is worse than death to you? Dying is easy. You die and everything is over. Nothing fucking matters. What’s worse is living a life you can’t live with. That’s worse than death. Don’t get yourself in that position and regret later. Because at that point, death might not be a choice and I can guarantee you, you will feel the pain. 

I know these are super dark thoughts. I need to be honest with myself. I want to keep exploring who I am. I am neither good nor bad. That’s ok. Perfection is a man made theory. Goodness is made to maintain some social order. No one is born perfect nor good. So deal with it, stop running away from it or shoving it down in a dark hole. Let it breathe.
